This lands in a very specific place—and you hold it well. The shift from becoming to noticing is clean, and you don’t over-explain it.

It unfolds naturally through the experience rather than through theory...

N.E's avatar

I really appreciate you noticing that it means a lot. There’s something important in letting the shift reveal itself through the experience rather than trying to pin it down too quickly, and I’m glad that came through clearly for you.

Paying attention instead of forcing or trying to make something happen outside of yourself. I really appreciate how you write. It’s in a way that I wouldn’t have realized or recognized without your words.

N.E's avatar

Thank you that means a lot to hear. I’m really glad the writing helped bring something into focus that was already there beneath the surface, because that’s often how it works less about adding something new, and more about noticing what didn’t have words yet.

Really grateful to read your voice this morning. You have a real talent with the way you reflect then share those reflections. Thank you 🥹🥲✨✨✨🌹

N.E's avatar

Thank you, that’s truly kind of you to say it means a lot to know the words met you in a meaningful way this morning. I’m really grateful for the connection and for you taking the time to share that feeling it’s what makes the whole exchange feel real ✨🌹

Acceptance of who you are in this moment without judgement so lessens the load that one can carry ... great reflections so greatly appreciated

N.E's avatar

Thank you for putting it that way it captures something really essential. There’s a quiet relief that comes with meeting yourself as you are, without adding extra judgment, and it often lightens more than we expect. I’m really glad the reflections resonated with you.

This is such a healed perspective 🫶🏻 Very wise words, thank you for sharing. It's so challenging to notice sometimes. Not only because it requires a pattern of awareness, which is hard when life is so immersive, but because we don't always like what we see.

"The Witness" is someone I go back to over & over again, but it's easy to focus on the misalignment rather than the small "I'm already here" moments. For me, reflection is one of the only keys I can reliably use to unlock that door of awareness because I don't always notice in the moment.

And then, I thing about how all other non-human Earthlings don't have this burden of thought. They simply exist. And I try operating from a position of solidarity and groundedness. Channeling water, channeling a lioness, chanbeling a blooming flower or whale or sloth... Discovering the energy around me to call forth my own.

(I won't even get into how the self changes through experience, age, etc. it's all so complex!)

N.E's avatar

I really appreciate the depth of what you’ve shared here it feels both grounded and expansive at the same time. There’s something powerful in returning to “The Witness” again and again, even when it’s imperfect, and I love how you recognize those small “I’m already here” moments as just as meaningful as noticing misalignment. Your way of connecting with the natural world as a source of presence and embodiment is beautiful it brings a kind of softness to the complexity of being human, rather than trying to solve it all at once.

Earth sometimes feels like the only truth to hold on to 🙏🏻

N.E's avatar

There’s something deeply grounding about that coming back to what’s tangible and real beneath your feet.

In that connection, things can feel simpler, steadier, and more true 🙏🏻

Love this! I spent years trying to become something I was never meant to be. When I finally gave that up, I really started to learn who I really am.

N.E's avatar

That’s a powerful shift letting go of what isn’t you makes space for what truly is. And from there, self-understanding tends to unfold much more naturally.

So insightful. I loved the reflection of just arriving now, here and what you are. Noticing, paying attention, accepting. Thank you!

N.E's avatar

That’s a really grounding way to put it arriving fully in the present can soften a lot of inner noise.

And from that place, noticing and accepting become much more natural and steady.

The effort feels like growth until it doesn’t. Then you see how much of it was trying to become something instead of noticing what was already there.

N.E's avatar

That’s a really honest turning point to recognize when effort shifts from feeling like progress to revealing itself as striving for something outside of what’s already present. There’s a quiet clarity in seeing that, because it softens the need to push and brings attention back to what’s actually here. And from that place, growth often feels less forced and more like something unfolding naturally rather than something you have to chase.

I love this! I am excited to follow you! The purpose for your journal that you state resonates with me deeply. "This journal exists in that space. Not as a guide to becoming someone better. But as a reflection of noticing more clearly. Of staying with thoughts long enough for them to reveal something real. Of allowing the process to unfold without forcing it into conclusions too quickly." I on board for that!

N.E's avatar

Thank you so much for this it means a lot to know that the intention behind the journal resonates with you on that level. There’s something really meaningful about sharing that space of simply noticing, without pressure to arrive anywhere too quickly, and I’m glad you feel connected to that approach. I’m genuinely looking forward to having you along for the journey as it continues to unfold.

Laura Lynch's avatar

I agree! It takes time to slow down and get used to noticing -- getting comfortable in the quiet! 🤗

N.E's avatar

Yes it really does take time to let the nervous system trust that quiet instead of trying to fill it 🤗

But once you settle into it, that space starts to feel less empty and more like home.

🤗 YES!

I am definitely subscribing this was brilliant. Bravo Bravo 👏🏾 this piece was felt in my spirit and in my bones. Thank you for this beautiful message.

N.E's avatar

I’m really glad the message resonated with you so deeply it means a lot to know it was felt in that way. Thank you for sharing your energy and presence here, and I’m truly appreciative of the connection we’ve had in this exchange.

I always say we didn’t lose ourselves we are slowly remembering. I’m tearing up bc I truly felt this as a mom of 5 as a woman. As someone who have been hyper independent, hyper vigilant, and over productive as trauma responses. I had this exact realization. And the words that you have written are such a beautiful expression of this very moment. I’m so happy for you! And I look forward to reading more and connecting.

N.E's avatar

I really appreciate you sharing that it carries a lot of lived depth and honesty. There’s something very powerful in the way you describe remembering rather than losing yourself, especially when you’ve had to be so self-reliant and alert for so long. I’m genuinely glad the words met you in that moment, and I’m here with you in the connection you’re building as you continue to write and unfold your own story.

This is beautiful. And it resonates completely. So much that I wrote about almost this very thing today. It’s just very long and not published.

I see you!

N.E's avatar

That’s really meaningful to hear I’m glad it resonated so closely with what you’ve been exploring.

And I see you too in the depth and care behind what you’re writing, even if it’s still private for now.

I had a similar realization after reading a book called

"THE UNTETHERED SOUL" by: Michael A. Singer

N.E's avatar

That’s a powerful book it tends to open up a very different way of relating to your inner experience. It’s great that it sparked a similar realization for you; those insights tend to stay with you.

Complicated & Unfiltered's avatar

They definitely do! I read a lot of books about the mind.
